We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Large Dealership. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead and manage a team of 15. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This role also involves managing internal controls, preparing payroll, tax reports, and sales commission reports, and reconciling accounts monthly.

Job Details
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage a team of 15, fostering a culture of continuous learning and process improvement.
2. Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and cash reports in accordance with GAAP, inventory.
3. Manage all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external regulations.
4. Develop and manage budgets, prepare tax and financial forecasts, providing strategic insights to support business decision-making.
5. Calculate and prepare sales commission reports, ensuring timely and accurate payouts.
6. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
7. Reconcile monthly accounts, including manufacturer accounts, and prepare detailed financial data for dealerships.
8. Prepare payroll and tax reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
9. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in all accounting functions.
10. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support overall company goals and objectives.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Auto Dealership industry.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP, Reynold and Reynolds and financial reporting.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
5. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
6. Proven ability to calculate commissions and prepare detailed financial statements.
7. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for process improvement.
9. Solid understanding of internal controls and their application within a business context.
10. Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
11. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all financial matters.
