We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a position that requires a strong understanding of investment and fund accounting. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Real Estate Fund Accounting, Investment Fund Accounting, Partnership Accounting, and NAV Reporting. They will also be well-versed in Waterfall Calculations, Variance Analysis, Account Reconciliations, US GAAP, Audit Support, Financial Controls, SOX Compliance, and Yardi. A CPA certification is preferred, as well as public accounting experience. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:
As our Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our accounting department's operations. Your duties will include:

1. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
2. Performing and reviewing fund-level accounting for a portfolio of investments.
3. Preparing and reviewing periodic NAV calculations and financial statements.
4. Performing and reviewing waterfall and capital call/distribution calculations, management fee calculations, etc.
5. Coordinating with the external auditors providing all necessary information for the annual audit process.
6. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory standards.
7. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures, including SOX compliance.
8. Performing account reconciliations and variance analysis.
9. Using Yardi or similar accounting software for financial reporting and management.
10. Providing leadership and support to accounts payable and receivable departments.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is highly preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on Real Estate Fund Accounting, Investment Fund Accounting, and Partnership Accounting.
3. Strong knowledge of NAV Reporting, Waterfall Calculations, Variance Analysis, and Account Reconciliations.
4. Experience with US GAAP, Audit Support, Financial Controls, SOX Compliance, and Yardi.
5. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. High attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
10. Public accounting experience is a plus.
