Job Details

A rapidly growing, design-driven consumer brand is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead and manage all financial operations as the organization scales. With increasing complexity across multi-entity operations, inventory management, and nationwide sales tax compliance, this role will serve as a key contributor to the companys continued growth and operational excellence.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, TX, working out of a thoughtfully designed headquarters alongside a small, fast-moving, and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, account reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and month-end close within Xero
  • Manage inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) tracking across Shopify and Numeral
  • Ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax regulations using Numeral
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Collaborate with a fractional CFO on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and transparent financial records to support business growth

Tools & Platforms:
  • Xero - Accounting and financial reporting
  • Shopify - E-commerce platform
  • Numeral - Sales tax compliance
  • Refersion - Affiliate program management
  • Product portfolio includes a streamlined mix of consumer products distributed in the U.S. and Canada

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within e-commerce, consumer goods, or light manufacturing
  • Proficiency in Xero and Shopify; familiarity with Numeral is a strong plus
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data at a strategic level
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a lean team structure
