Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Accounting Manager for our fast-paced manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position with a focus on leading our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting management, including venture capital fundraising, M&A, government projects, multinational accounting, and pre-IPO preparations. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
2. Develop and implement financial systems, strategies, and processes to optimize the efficiency of the department.
3. Lead venture capital fundraising initiatives, M&A activities, and government project accounting.
4. Handle multinational accounting, ensuring compliance with international accounting and financial regulations.
5. Prepare the company for pre-IPO by setting up and maintaining comprehensive financial records.
6. Collaborate with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
7. Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
8. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
9. Use pivot tables and GAS Scripts to analyze complex financial data and prepare reports.
10. Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.
11. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a senior accounting manager role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with venture capital fundraising, M&A, government project accounting, multinational accounting, and pre-IPO preparation.
4. Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
6. Expertise in pivot tables, GAS Scripts, and other data analysis tools.
7. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
8. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software packages.
11. Ability to collaborate effectively with auditors and maintain a strong working relationship with various stakeholders.
