Job Details
Our construction company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting, WIP, GAAP, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Manage the construction accounting process, including WIP schedules and job costing
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
- Provide financial analysis and support to the management team
- Manage and develop the accounting team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of experience in construction accounting
- CPA Preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with WIP schedules and job costing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and develop a team
