Job Overview:
Job Requirements:
- Manage, train, and supervise team members in processing payroll and internal controls related to Financial Reporting, Labor Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Project Accounting, Invoicing, Fixed - Assets, Inventory, and Tax Compliance.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Review, approve, and properly account for Accounts Payable, ensuring timely payments.
- Manage project accounting processes to accurately account for customer contract costs, billing, and collection of Accounts Receivable within payment terms.
- Ensure compliance of accounting processes with US Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Manage banking operations and internal controls for check writing and wire transfers.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement plans for accounting systems.
- Collaborate with external CPA firms to file accurate and timely tax returns.
- Maintain accurate files supporting Accounting Manager responsibilities.
- Provide ad hoc financial reports or support as needed.
- Demonstrate superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on attention to detail and confidentiality.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with Sage 100, ECI Max, or ADP Payroll systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of integrated ERP systems is desirable.
