Job Details:
We are actively seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in the medical industry. This is a position that will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations and contributing to our bottom line. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, preparing monthly financial statements, and supervising a team of accounting professionals. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Overseeing and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income and cash flow reports.
• Heavy processing and reconciling of balance sheet accounts.
• Provide a strong understanding and analysis of the Profit and Loss statement.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial procedures, and promote a culture of fiscal responsibility and continual improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master’s degree or CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the medical industry.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficient in preparing balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Strong understanding of profit and loss statements.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
