Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Manage AR, AP, and sales/use tax compliance.
- Maintain and improve internal controls (SOX compliance knowledge a plus).
- Drive process simplification projects across accounting/finance using continuous improvement tools.
- Oversee accounting policy development and enforcement.
- Hire, manage, and develop a small, skilled accounting team.
- Act as a business partner across functions to ensure strong financial visibility.
- Contribute to external audit and compliance readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- 8+ years of increasingly complex accounting experience in public and/or private settings.
- Strong ERP skills (SAP preferred), along with knowledge of financial systems like Concur.
- High level of attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Experience in cost accounting is a strong plus.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
