We are looking for a dynamic and driven Accounting Manager to join our team.

This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, financials, manufacturing accounting, monthly reporting, reconciliation, monthly ledger, and ERP implementation.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits, providing recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Implement and manage ERP systems to streamline and automate financial processes.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing department to understand and account for company expenses and revenues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reconciliation of all financial accounts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, financials, manufacturing accounting, monthly reporting, reconciliation, monthly ledger, and ERP implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
  • Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
