Job Details
Our company is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that will focus on managing the overall financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing routine department activities, managing the financials, and ensuring that the company's financial reports are accurate and completed in time.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, and posting month-end financials.
- Reconcile account balances and bank statements, maintain a general ledger, and prepare month-end close procedures.
- Develop and implement internal controls and best practices to ensure accurate financial reporting, and to detect and prevent fraud.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage company audits.
- Guide junior staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
