Get ready to take your accounting skills to the next level in the fast-paced world of technology. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that will provide you with an opportunity to contribute to our company's financial health and growth. You will be working closely with our financial team and other departments to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounting functions and a deep understanding of GAAP, month-end close procedures, tax, and general ledger.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including with a focus on General Ledger and Tax.
2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, instituting and maintaining other planning and control procedures.
3. Managing the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, and more.
4. Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal company policies.
5. Coordinating the month-end close process and preparing monthly financial statements and reports.
6. Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process.
7. Collaborating with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.
8. Preparing for annual audits and coordinating the audit process.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - CPA Preferred
2. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
3. A strong understanding and knowledge of GAAP.
4. Solid experience with month-end close procedures, tax, and general ledger.
5. Proficiency in using financial software and MS Excel.
6. Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
8. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
9. High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
