Accounting Manager

A locally owned construction company based in Honolulu is looking for an Accountant to join their growing team. With over 30 years of construction experience they focus on commercial and residential projects including multi-family housing, resort & hospitality, institutional and LEED. They've maintained long lasting relationships, solidifying themselves as a top GC across the islands of Hawaii. This role will work onsite in their office near downtown with the rest of the executive management team.

The dynamic role of the Accountant involves steering the ship of financial records, crafting and dissecting budgets with finesse, conquering tax forms and reports, and playing a crucial part in the grand symphony of audits. Beyond the numbers, there's the thrilling task of summoning financial statements and reports, scrutinizing every transaction with eagle eyes, and orchestrating seamless reconciliations of accounts. It's not just number-crunching; it's a financial adventure waiting to unfold!

Benefits:

• Base Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting management
• Experience managing a small team of accountants
• Experienced with accounting software: Microsoft Excel & QuickBooks
• Expert in tax laws and regulations
• Knowledge in construction finance
• College degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA License is preferred but not necessary
