Accounting Manager

Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a challenging and rewarding role in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all financial activities of the company, including financial analysis, reporting, month-end close, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role will require a high level of competence in MS Excel and ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Coordinate and execute the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
3. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
4. Prepare and present financial analysis for senior management, including financial planning and budgeting.
5. Manage, guide, and mentor the accounting team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
6. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
7. Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of financial operations.
8. Lead ad hoc financial projects and analyses as required.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably with direct managerial experience within the accounting field.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with other accounting software.
4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
5. Excellent financial analysis skills, with the ability to create and deliver detailed, accurate reports.
6. Proven experience in managing the month-end and year-end close process.
7. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
9. Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
