The Private Equity Backed Manufacturing Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and dynamic Controller to join their finance team. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting for the group of companies.

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide insightful analysis of financial results to senior management and private equity investors.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor performance against budgeted targets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
3. Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed. Manage banking relationships, including monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, and preparing periodic cash flow reports.
4. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, profitability analysis, and trend analysis. Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and optimizing operational efficiency.
5. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
6. Audits and Compliance: Coordinate and manage annual financial audits with external auditors. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. Prepare and file necessary tax returns.
7. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, including accountants and financial analysts. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing development to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
8. Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance financial processes and systems to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Implement new tools and technologies to streamline financial operations.
