We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage the financial health of our company. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties, maintaining the general ledger, preparation of financial statements, budgeting, cost accounting, payroll management, tax preparation, and more. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments within the organization.

- Oversee and manage the general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with the executive team to ensure financial objectives align with strategic goals.
- Direct and oversee cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
- Manage the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Coordinate and oversee the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Develop and implement operational best practices.
- Oversee the financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required; an MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting management role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrable experience with financial reporting, budgeting, financial management, management accounting, general ledger, cost accounting, financial accounting, payroll management, corporate finance, and tax preparation.
