Are you a CPA with 5+ years of mixed experience between Big 4 and private industry?

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the preparation, analysis, and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
2. Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws in all financial transactions and reporting.
3. Implementing and managing all activities related to PeopleSoft, including system upgrades and process improvements.
4. Supervising and mentoring a team of accountants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
5. Coordinating with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
6. Developing and implementing effective accounting policies and procedures.
7. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations.
9. Providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager role will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience
3. Big 4 / private industry experience
