Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee close activities, support public company reporting requirements, and help strengthen accounting operations as the business continues to scale. This individual will partner closely with the Controller, FP&A leadership, auditors, and operational teams while contributing to process improvements and ERP transformation efforts.

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32256 | 100% Onsite

  • Lead monthly and annual close processes
  • Support quarterly SEC reporting and 10-Q preparation
  • Coordinate quarterly review activities with external auditors
  • Prepare and review financial reporting schedules
  • Partner with FP&A and accounting leadership on reporting deliverables
  • Assist with revenue recognition analysis related to projects and contracts
  • Support construction, project, and cost accounting activities
  • Participate in ERP migration and implementation efforts
  • Improve accounting workflows and reporting efficiency
  • Build scalable accounting processes for a growing organization
  • Support evolving policies, procedures, and controls
  • Contribute to cross-functional finance initiatives
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and organizational needs
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Accounting leadership experience within a complex business environment
  • Exposure to public company reporting preferred
  • SEC filing experience preferred
  • ERP implementation or system migration experience highly valued
  • Experience with Great Plains and/or Microsoft Business Central preferred
  • Construction accounting, CIP accounting, project accounting, or cost accounting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting operations
  • Process improvement mindset with hands-on execution capability
