ACCOUNTING MANAGERRH2 CPAs is excited to introduce a position in our new Accounting Services Group. This group will consist of Family Office Support and Business Management Support starting initially as Family Office Support for some of our family groups. Through support of our ownership, we envision this group growing over time and becoming an important service offering for the firm to support critical areas for our clients eventually leading to an ownership opportunity for an individual motivated to accept responsibility and lead client engagements. Job Responsibilities
Developing month-end close and reconciliation procedures for all accounting entities
Develop software stack recommendations to management to ensure efficiency of service delivery.
Develop customized reporting sets for all accounting client engagements and support leadpartners with excellent client service.
Maintain general ledgers and other accounting schedules for all accounting entities including realestate and trust entities.
Monthly reconciliations and closings
Document management and organization of historical information
Implementation of new software applications which support service
Experience Requirements
5+ years of progressive experience in general accounting and financial reporting
Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting with a CPA a plus
Experience with different accounting systems, including cloud-based systems such as QB Onlineand Sage Intacct
Proficient in MSFT applications, in particular Excel
Understanding of federal and state business tax reporting requirements
Experience in Power BI and / or Tableau a plus
Experience presenting performance metrics and KPIs a plus
Knowledge of GAAP reporting a plus
