We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to shape the financial future of our company.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our accounting department, including:
1. Supervising, tracking, and evaluating day-to-day activities, including audits, cost accounting, and inventory.
2. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
3. Preparing and presenting financial reports, including monthly and annual accounts.
4. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
5. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
6. Coordinating with the CFO and executive team on strategic financial planning.
7. Conducting regular ledger maintenance.
8. Leading and directing accounting staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
3. Proven experience with audits, cost accounting, and inventory management.
4. Solid knowledge of accounting principles, laws, regulations, and best practices.
5. Proficiency in accounting software, databases, and financial analysis tools.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
