We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in overseeing our accounting operations and leading our accounting staff. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, compliance with regulatory laws, coordinating with external auditors, and managing intercompany transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost accounting structures and be able to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities. This position requires a proactive individual who can foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, and who is capable of providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in overseeing our accounting operations and leading our accounting staff. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor the accounting staff, including AP, AR for Related Entities, and general ledger functions.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Assist in developing, and oversight of, the processes for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all entities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules.
- Assist the Controller in coordinating with external auditors for annual audits and tax filings.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate chart of accounts and entity-specific reporting structures.
- Understand and assist in improving the Company cost accounting structure.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
- Analyze the use of accounting systems and implement process improvement to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with Controller and other departments to assist in optimizing financial software and reporting tools.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
