We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to manage and oversee our accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger, budgeting, and month-end close, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with decision-making and has a strong understanding of financial principles.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger, budgeting, and month-end close, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with decision-making and has a strong understanding of financial principles.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Coordinate and execute the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Assist the Controller with the budgeting process, including the development of annual budgets, monitoring actual performance against budget, and preparing periodic reports comparing budgeted to actual costs.
- Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.
- Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
- Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define financial strategy and planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Advanced degree or professional certification like CPA is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- roven experience in financial reporting, general ledger, budgeting, and month-end close.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a high level of proficiency in Excel.
