SUMMARY
The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, and optimize processes using NetSuite ERP. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this position supports the general ledger accounting team, with a strong focus on cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, and optimize processes using NetSuite ERP. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this position supports the general ledger accounting team, with a strong focus on cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and perform general accounting functions (GL)
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closes
- Ensure GAAP compliance and GL coding accuracy
- Mentor and support accounting team members
- Coordinate and support routine external audits
- Support tax preparation
- Monitor resolve FIFO inventory variances
- Maintain monthly reports
- Ensure compliance with state requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Required: Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA Preferred: Master’s
- Experience: 7+ years in accounting, 3+ in manufacturing
- Strong NetSuite ERP and Excel proficiency
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, inventory, and cost accounting
- Heavy audit and tax experience
- Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- NetSuite ERP implementation or upgrades
- Compliance audits in manufacturing
- Executive-level financial analysis and recommendations
