Responsibilities:
As our Accounting Manager, your duties will include:
1. Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
2. Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Managing budgeting and forecasting, performing variance analysis in comparison with forecast for the period.
4. Collaborating with external auditors, managing audit process, and implementing audit recommendations.
5. Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures, aligning them with the company's targets.
6. Leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
7. Collaborating with executive leadership to define financial strategy and planning.
8. Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal standards.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification would be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in Forecasting, Financial Reporting, Accounting, and Financial Planning.
3. Proven experience in managing a team, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Proficiency in accounting software, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
6. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information in clear terms.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
