Plan, organize, supervise and participate in various accounting and financial activities.
Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel; monitor and adjust workflow and assignments to meet established timelines; supervise general accounting functions.
Assure timelines are met; maintain proper controls and records for receipt and disbursement of funds, and complete special projects; assure accuracy and timely preparation of reports and records.
Primarily responsible for the completeness and accuracy of financial data within Sage X3 ERP system and its various supporting databases and systems; reconciling of balance sheet accounts.
Communicate with vendors, customers and employees to arrange payment or resolve discrepancies as necessary; assist assigned personnel with difficult, complex and unusual issues.
Recommend and assist in the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures related to the accounting department.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Barlean's team.
Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.
Assist or take on general accounting tasks as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
