Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounting Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to our construction business operations and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's financial success. The Consulting Accounting Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable and payable, as well as leveraging Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, performing regular financial analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure all financial aspects of construction projects are managed effectively.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements related to financial management.
• Manage and reconcile all bank and credit card accounts.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to management, contributing to the strategic planning and decision-making process.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Act as a point of contact for financial queries from both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of construction industry accounting practices and regulations is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred but not required.
