Responsibilities
2. Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
3. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
4. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports or snapshots and assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closings.
5. Ensure timely processing and control of invoices and expense reports.
6. Manage vendor relationships and maintain a vendor database.
7. Handle project management tasks related to accounting initiatives.
8. Ensure compliance with COI and W9 documentation and procedures.
9. Use Microsoft Excel for data entry, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
Qualifications
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
4. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
5. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with other financial-related software.
7. Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Experience in managing vendors and understanding of COI and W9 documentation and procedures.
