Job Details
- Oversee and lead the Firm’s accounts receivable operations, including monthly billing and collections
- Supervise a team of 2 AR Specialists, providing leadership, training, and workflow oversight
- Collaborate with other accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and reporting teams
- Prepare and review billing reports, reconciliations, and collection metrics for leadership
- Partner with the Controller to ensure accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices
- Provide client service support on billing-related inquiries when necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including accounts receivable, billing, or collections (law firm experience needed)
- At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Proficiency with accounting and billing systems (experience in legal billing software a plus)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines, supervise staff, and collaborate across departments
