Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Supervisor to join out clients boutique public accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification, at least 4 years of audit experience, and prior experience in public accounting. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions
• Manage a team of accountants and provide leadership, guidance, and support as needed
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed

Qualifications:

• CPA certification required
• At least 4 years of experience in audit, with experience as a Public Accounting and Assurance Manager
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
