Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.
2. Perform 3 Way Match to ensure accurate and efficient invoice processing.
3. Conduct Account Reconciliation on a regular basis to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Handle 1099 filings and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
5. Utilize Concur to manage travel and expense reporting, ensuring that all expenses are tracked accurately and in a timely manner.
6. Develop and implement effective Expense Management strategies to control costs and improve financial efficiency.
7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve cross-functional communication.
8. Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management.
9. Stay abreast of latest industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree (nice to have).
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in 3 Way Match, Account Reconciliation, 1099, Concur, and Expense Management.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and produce meaningful insights.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. Knowledge of financial software systems and databases.
