Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with 3+ years experience to join our growing construction company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our company's accounts payable processes and procedures.
Main responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounts payable experience and with experience coming from the construction industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Main responsibilities include:
- Processing all invoices and payments to vendors and subcontractors in a timely manner
- Verifying that invoices match purchase orders, contracts, and receipts
- Entering invoices into accounting system and coding expenses to proper general ledger accounts
- Reconciling accounts payable ledger with general ledger on a monthly basis
- Responding to vendor inquiries related to invoice and payment status
- Maintaining files of processed invoices, cheque copies, and other payable records
- Preparing analysis of accounts and producing monthly reports
- Issuing 1099s for vendors at year-end
