We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating our accounts payable functions. You will be a part of a fast-paced, high-performing team, and will be given the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills. Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Processing and verifying invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Ensuring all payments are completed and processed accurately, addressing any discrepancies.
3. Reviewing and reconciling invoice discrepancies while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
4. Assisting with month-end closing procedures and preparing monthly financial reports.
5. Maintaining and updating vendor files, ensuring all financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
6. Collaborating with the team to improve accounts payable processes and systems.
7. Assisting in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
8. Responding to vendor inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
9. Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate General Ledger coding and cost center allocation.
10. Participating in special projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger, financial reporting, and accounting.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
10. Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
