We are on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team. This is a hybrid role, meaning you will have the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely. You will be a crucial part of our Accounting and Finance department, leading a team of Accounts Payable Coordinators and ensuring the highest standards of financial management.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will:
1. Oversee the complete accounts payable process, from receipt of AP invoices to payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Manage, mentor, and lead a team of hybrid and remote Accounts Payable Coordinators, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
3. Troubleshoot vendor inquiries, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
4. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
5. Use your previous experience with Coupa p2p to streamline and improve our processes.
6. Implement process improvements within the Accounts Payable department, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
7. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Supervisor role should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with a proven track record of managing and leading a team.
2. Previous experience with Coupa p2p is required.
3. A strong understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot vendor inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
5. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
7. A high level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with other financial software and systems.
9. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
