Job Details:
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounts Payable to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, including processing payments, producing monthly reports, and maintaining up-to-date records. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization and will work closely with the finance team to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling all invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
3. Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies.
4. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
5. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures for the accounts payable process.
6. Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
7. Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable general ledger accounts.
8. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of accounts payable operations.
9. Assist in the annual audit by providing information and answering questions related to accounts payable.
10. Perform other duties as required to support the financial health of the organization.

Qualifications:
1. High Volume AP Experience
2. Minimum of 1 years of experience in an accounts payable role.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
4. Experience with accounts payable software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Experience with financial audits and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
