Job Details
· Accurately review, audit, code and process vendor invoices including credit cards
· Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
· Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
· Prepare invoices for weekly check runs
· Process checks in a timely manner to ensure all discounts available are received and vendors are paid on time.
· Preform monthly reporting requirements
· Filing
· Maintain all required information for year-end reporting
· Interact effectively with co-workers, and supervisor
· Demonstrates friendly and respectful behavior in the work environment
· Must have the ability to stay focused and perform job duties efficiently and accurately.
· Must comply with compliance policy, practices, and procedures.
· Assist in any job duty as assigned or as instructed by Management.
Minimum Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
· Knowledge of computer technology and terminology
· Ability to type and demonstrate proficiency with 10 key
· Ability to work in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision
· Perform duties in a timely and accurate manner
· Maintain confidentiality of information
· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company, vendors, and office staff
· Demonstrate effective work habits and ability to build/maintain effective work relationships
· Ability to read and comprehend English
· Ability to complete assigned work within established deadlines
· High School diploma or GED
· Pass a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
Preferred Qualifications
· Proficient in MS Office including Excel
· Working knowledge of Quick Books
· BA/BS or higher in business preferred
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
· This position requires considerable sitting and typing.
· Extensive computer work
· Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching to handle/file documents
· Frequent use of telephone, copy machine, printer, and fax
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· Ability to move inside or outside of the office space to access file cabinets, copy machines
