Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing our company's financial health. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing the accounts receivable process, including invoice creation, payment processing, and customer account management.
2. Performing daily cash applications and conducting regular account reconciliations.
3. Utilizing advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data, produce reports, and provide insights into our financial performance.
4. Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to company policies.
5. Utilizing Great Plains software to manage financial transactions and generate financial reports.
6. Collaborating with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and improve customer satisfaction.
7. Identifying opportunities to improve the accounts receivable process and contributing to the implementation of new financial strategies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with a particular focus on accounts receivable management. Specific qualifications include:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably within a fast-paced business environment.
2. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
3. Experience with cash applications and account reconciliations.
4. Familiarity with Great Plains software or a similar financial management system.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
7. A detail-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality in all work.
