Primary Duties
Qualifications & Skills
- Accounts Receivable Oversight: Handle the end-to-end AR cycle, which includes generating invoices, posting payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Collections Management: Reach out to clients with past-due balances, arrange payment schedules when necessary, and resolve billing disputes.
- Client Support: Respond to customer questions with professionalism while ensuring concerns are resolved promptly.
- Account Balancing: Perform routine reconciliations of customer accounts, correcting discrepancies as they arise.
- Reporting & Analysis: Compile AR aging reports, track collection progress, and share updates with management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales and customer service to resolve matters that could delay collections.
- Policy & Compliance: Follow company standards and regulatory requirements related to receivables and collections.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years in accounts receivable, including hands-on experience with cash application.
- Customer Relations: Strong ability to manage sensitive payment discussions and successfully negotiate resolutions.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
- Accuracy: Careful attention to detail in financial entries and reconciliations.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies quickly.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using accounting systems along with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
