We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be a critical member of our team, responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and vendor discrepancy resolution. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, including preparing and sending invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries related to accounts receivable.
- Resolve vendor discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service departments to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, particularly related to accounts receivable.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Experience with accounting software, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Exceptional ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
