Job Details

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification in avionics or electronics preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with aircraft avionics systems (military or civilian).
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and/or Repairman Certificate preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital and analog electronic systems.
  • Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on military aircraft or high-performance jets.
  • Familiarity with military or FAA technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft avionics and electrical systems including communication, navigation, radar, flight control, and surveillance systems.
  • Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment to diagnose issues.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Perform regular and preventive maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
  • Document work performed and ensure accurate maintenance records are maintained.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory guidelines (FAA, EASA, etc.).
