As a Mobile Service Technician, you will focus on the maintenance activities of our customer aircraft, and identify and correct issues on malfunctioning aircraft mechanical components and systems. Job Details

Responsibilities:
As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

1. Performing routine inspections and maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing or replacing defective aircraft parts.
2. Ensuring all aircraft maintenance procedures are executed in accordance with company regulations and safety standards.
3. Interpreting and working from engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
4. Performing detailed documentation of all inspection findings, maintenance operations, and repair work.
5. Collaborating with a team of mechanics and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex aircraft issues.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and other relevant industry standards and practices.
7. Assisting in the training and development of junior mechanics and interns.
8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety of aircraft operations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the A&P Mechanic position, the candidate must possess the following:

1. A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong understanding of both airframe systems and powerplant systems.
3. Proficiency in interpreting and working from complex engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of FAR 43 and other relevant FAA regulations.
5. Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
7. Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and aircraft test equipment.
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
9. Physical ability to frequently lift, carry, and position heavy objects, and to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
10. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
11. Willingness to participate in continuous learning and training opportunities.
