The Asset Liability Management (ALM) Analyst 2 leads in the preparation and analysis of Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Stress Testing. This position leads to the processing of results and the preparation of detailed reports for Senior Management, the ALM Council, and the Asset Liability Management Committee. The ALM Analyst 2 is a key contributor to the development and refinement of modeling techniques, stress testing of assumptions, and back testing of results. This position collaborates with other team members to obtain, maintain, and develop the data needed for models and ensures the timely production of standard management reports. The ALM Analyst 2 performs data validation tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.


Required Knowledge

· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related areas (e.g., Mathematics, Data Analytics, Accounting); or 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree (in addition to the required related model experience).
· 3-4 years of experience is required including using an Interest Rate Risk/Asset Liability Management model.
· MUST HAVE experience with Interest Rate Risk
· Advanced skills with MS Office, Excel in particular, but include Power Point and Word.
· Intermediate level skill with query report writers, such as Cognos.
· Comprehensive knowledge of banking products such as loans and deposits.
· Understands profitability, breakeven point, and other common financial measurements.
