Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute audits of alternative investment products and strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and structured products
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in audit senior, alternative investments, or financial services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of auditing standards and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit software
