Job Summary:
A facility in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist (Ane MD) to join our team. This full-time position offers a manageable schedule with no call requirements, focusing on high-quality care for a variety of cases. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently and have experience across general adult, pediatric, and complex cases, including neurosurgery and thoracic surgery.
Schedule:
Ideally Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Flexible scheduling options available (8-hour or 10-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide anesthesia care for a wide variety of cases, including:
Ventilator management (preferred)
Skills and Qualifications:
Board-certified Anesthesiologist (Ane MD)
Must be licensed to practice in Indiana
Required certifications:
ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Experience with complex cases, including thoracic surgery, neurosurgery, and complex orthopedics is preferred
Competence in regional anesthesia techniques, central and arterial line placement, and ventilator management
Clean background and NPDB (National Practitioner Data Bank) status
Support Team:
2 Registered Nurses (RNs)
1 Medical Assistant (MA)
1 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
1 Office Staff
Facility Details:
Beds in Department: 16
Operating Rooms (ORs): 16
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic
Patients per day: Average of 5 cases
Compensation and Benefits:

- Pain management procedures
- Post-op epidural and extremity blocks
- Central and arterial line placement (preferred)
Ventilator management (preferred)
- Independently manage and perform anesthesia procedures as this role does not involve a care team model.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, CRNAs, and office staff.
