We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry here in Charlotte, NC. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about technology, innovation, and mechanical design. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and improving our manufacturing applications to optimize productivity, efficiency, and overall business performance. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement manufacturing applications using sectional view drawings and other mechanical design techniques.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
3. Conduct detailed analysis of the existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
4. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system layouts, operational procedures, and user guides.
5. Support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
7. Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the applications.
8. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive and up-to-date.
9. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
10. Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field
2. 3-5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience
3. Proven experience with sectional view drawings and mechanical design.
4. Technical support, mechanical design experience, and testing skills
5. Ability to use 2D and 3D modelling software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and/or Inventor)
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
7. Ability to read and modify dimensional and sectional view drawings
8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
11. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
