Job Details:
The Architectural Design Lead is responsible for managing the daily inflow of design requests from our onsite sales team, which includes but is not limited to:
  • Siting plan designs on the lot for company and county compliance and construction viability, and or coming up with creative
solutions to design needs/challenges by the client.
  • You will meet directly with clients with their specific needs whether in person or virtually, in order to progress them toward a purchase.
  • You will be expected in those meetings to demonstrate solutions in real time as you navigate software such as: CAD, REVIT, Bluebeam or others.
  • You will also maintain plan control on our base designs as well as customization for reuse, and provide our purchasing department with
takeoff/quantities for assistance in budget controls and estimating.
  • You will play a key role in assisting with value engineering to ensure the company is able to maximize returns through
best industry practices and specific material specifications.
  • You may oversee and manage the lot specific plan development process through building permit and handoff to the construction
project teams.


Qualifications:
Degree in drafting or architecture or a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience. Highend residential experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in software such as CAD, REVIT, and other 3D modeling software.
  • Strong ability to create detailed drawings that communicate industry proven building
practices and avoid scope gaps, ambiguity, or RFI’s that lead to loss of company
profitability.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Focus on solving conflict, maintain confidentiality, listens to others.
  • Oral Communication - Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations,
listen, and gets clarification, respond well to questions, demonstrate group presentation
