Jobot is partnering with an international manufacturing company to staff a position as an Architecture & Design Specification Representative. The A&D Specification Rep will be responsible for the following:
Develop new customer accounts and maintain and develop existing ones, with the specification, interior design market sectors
If you have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, proven success working as a Specification Representative (or similar) role, strong background in working with A&D firms where you can leverage your network with them, possess excellent presentation skills, allied with a questioning based approach to elicit important project based information, have outstanding customer service and communication skills and thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment, than this could be an excellent opportunity for you. Develop new customer accounts and maintain and develop existing ones, with the specification, interior design market sectors
- Generate specifications through the defined territory
- Create awareness of the brand and products within the architectural, design and specification communities
- Obtain specifications for the company, its decorative surface wood panels and flooring products
- Identify high value projects in the planning state to target for sales
- Assis personnel in bringing those projects to close and assist/educate applicators, millworkers and dealers relative to the beneficial use of branded products
- Develop relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, architectural librarians, general contactors, distributor specification teams, and end users.
- Liaise with distributors and customers as required with specific reference to supplying product information and samples
- Manage inquiries for product information or samples
- Act as consultant to the architectural and design community by assisting with project design, product identifications, and applications
- Review project plans and specifications to determine project specific opportunities
- Communicate and collaborate with the sales organization to ensure promotion of the company brand and its products resulting in revenue creation
- Support sales & marketing managers at the distributor level to increase sales of company products
- Complete required administrative duties in a thorough and timely manner, such as CRM, expense reports, project research, and forecasting, etc.
- Manage targets and sales to agreed budgets and generate/track sales leads producing reports using CRM systems
- Provide on-going promotion of the company, its products and services, through presentations and training seminars at architectural, design and specification communities as well as sales and marketing terms at the distributors level
