Area Manager

Our client is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals focused on delivering sustainable solutions for water-intensive industries, including consumer, industrial, institutional, food and beverage, and pool and spa water markets!

Their broad product portfolio includes an array of water treatment chemistries, process aids, functional additives, and cleaners and disinfectants, as well as state-of-the-art monitoring and control systems.

You Will Be Responsible For

• You will have responsibility and accountability for the P&L of an Area Sales and Service Team.
• Effectively lead the Area team to profitable sales growth while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, compliance, and integrity.
• Work with and inspire leaders of adjacent teams to create a collaborative work environment.
• Accounts located in West TN, Memphis, NW AL, North MS

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical engineering, pulp and paper science and engineering, applied sciences or engineering with relevant experience
• Experienced specialty chemical sales with a track record of sales success
• Proven record of delivering results and leading teams to achieve business and team goals.
• Ability to build a strong team atmosphere and culture for success that drives loyalty and team spirit and diversity.
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of customer (businesses, organizational structure, value drivers, products/services, competitive market positions) and relevant industries and markets (economic trends, and value drivers, threats/opportunities, current growth and future potential)
