Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of asbestos litigation matters, from initial intake through to resolution.
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.
  • Conduct thorough and meticulous legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court, presenting arguments and evidence in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals, contributing to a positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in asbestos litigation, with a particular focus on toxic tort and plaintiff representation.
  • Proven track record of success in trial.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality legal documents.
  • Strong oral advocacy skills, with the ability to present arguments and evidence in a clear, compelling, and persuasive manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
