We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Consulting Assembler to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. If you are passionate about the mechanics of production and have a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you. The successful candidate will be a key player in our manufacturing process, responsible for assembling various products and ensuring that they meet our high-quality standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of blueprints, the use of precision measurement tools, and a strong background in hydraulics. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where your skills and expertise will be vital to the success of our operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and implement blueprints and mechanical drawings to assemble parts and products accurately.
2. Utilize assembly tools and precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure products meet specified tolerances.
3. Conduct hydraulic testing on assembled products to verify functionality and adherence to quality standards.
4. Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, proposing solutions to improve the assembly process.
5. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize assembly procedures and product design.
6. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
7. Provide expert advice and guidance on assembly processes, participating in the training and development of less experienced staff.
8. Regularly report on assembly process and product quality to management, suggesting improvements where necessary.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in a related field is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
4. Extensive experience using assembly tools and precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
5. In-depth understanding of tolerance and the ability to verify product adherence to specified tolerances.
6. Proven experience with hydraulic testing and a strong understanding of hydraulics.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and improve assembly processes.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and provide guidance and training.
9. Must be detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
10. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
