We are currently seeking an Asset Manager to join our growing team.

What You Can Expect To Do
- Assist with driving asset performance, generate, and execute strategic asset plans; strategically manage property cash flow, and major repair and maintenance capital improvements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of each property and its challenges, assess implementation of strategic initiatives, assess operational and management performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate and manage strategic capital improvement plans carried out by general contractors and third-party vendors.
- Forge strong relationships with operating partners to proactively work through challenges and communicate concerns up internal and external chains of command when expectations are not being met.
- Analyze and ensure the integrity of monthly and quarterly property-level financial statements vs. budget or proforma.
- Creation and implementation of annual operating and capital budgets.
- With the support of our Compliance team, monitor compliance requirements and deadlines across multiple government agencies and programs.
- Maintain terms of partnership agreements, loan documents, regulatory agreements and various property agreements.
- Coordinate communications and manage requests from investors, lenders, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Support our Construction Services and Acquisitions teams with ad-hoc coordination and communication as needed.
- Conduct frequent physical inspections of each asset and its competitive market in the portfolio.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related fields
- 3-8 years of experience with real estate asset management and finance
- Operational experience with financial reporting and managing equity investments, in essential housing
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and present solutions
- Effective communication and presentation skills to work effectively with and present to a broad range partners, agencies and third-party managers
