Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Lead the preparation and delivery of financial reporting to private equity owners and lenders.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and compliance of accounting policies and internal controls.
- Serve as the primary liaison for the annual financial statement audit.
- Manage and maintain the Accounting ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics GP) and contribute to the planning and execution of future system transitions.
- Direct teams responsible for expense management, accruals, and fixed asset accounting.
- Coordinate the monthly close process, including preparation of financial statements and cash flow reporting.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with current and emerging technical accounting standards (GAAP).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- CPA certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including 5 years in a management role.
- Prior experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP and experience managing accounting controls.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn new tools and systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Committed to driving efficiency, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
